Since their last visit, ‘Salute to the 1940’s’ have been touring around the UK with their popular show. In Nov 2022, they make a welcome return to the Stamford Corm Exchange on Remembrance Sunday. Returning with many of the shows favourite acts including Lorrie Brown as Vera Lynn and Colin Bourdiec with his tribute to George Formby.
Since their last visit Lorrie has been recognised with 2 awards for her tribute. In 2019 she was awarded the ‘Music Industry Award’ for her services to the tribute industry and the Marti Caine Award for entertainment for her charity work, raising £11,000 for the Dame Vera Lynn Childrens Charity of which she is an ambassador.
You will see all the favourites from their last appearance including tributes to The Andrews Sisters, Flanagan and Allen, G.I Frank Sinatra, Gracie Fields and compere, Warden Braithwaite keeping them all in line. This is a fabulous uplifting show which always leaves the audience singing the songs as they leave the theatre.
